Providing breast milk is the biological food source nature intended for infants. Breast milk can be given to newborns in many different ways and sometimes it can be difficult to provide. Across the globe families are offering breast milk via breastfeeding, chest-feeding, bottle feeding, and cup feeding. International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) are trained at the highest level to identify the issues of providing breast milk to infants and work to improve feeding outcomes.
