Heather Shabestari, BS, IBCLC, CEIM

Heather Shabestari is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM). Her lactation training was completed through University of California, San Diego and an 8 month internship at Kaiser Permanente's outpatient lactation department. She received the highest certification in lactation offered by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. Her certification in infant massage has helped many families learn the benefits of massage and how it can also help feeding outcomes. Helping families whole heartedly is the reason why so many of her clients have success. Giving families the most current evidence based research in breastfeeding education and management is powerful and enlightening to many who are struggling to achieve a positive breastfeeding experience. Hope, encouragement, guidance, laughter, skill and a true member of your team is what Heather can offer families on their breastfeeding journey.
